My name is Jordan Walsh, and I’m a writer based in Philadelphia. Much of my work is about music — I love to write about all kinds of artists, but I have a particular fascination with emo and punk rock. I have published reviews, interviews, and personal essays about music at The Alternative, MAGNET Magazine, Slant Magazine, and Music Journalism Insider. I also write a newsletter called I Keep a Diary.
I write fiction and self-publish my work in zines. So far I’ve written, edited, designed, and distributed the zines Last Ditch and Aviation (the latter in collaboration with the poet Tali Cohen).
